I feel like you've either made this topic or had this discussion before
Anyways...I've never put a hand on my daughter. Worst thing you can do is take away her books or tell her she can't do "homework" (handwriting) as a punishment. I wouldn't want it any other way.
I've been talking to her like an adult since the day she came home from the hospital. She's had a CLEAR understanding of right from wrong at an early age. There's nothing that can't be accomplished (disciplinary) through a discussion.
No joke, before I had my daughter, I read a lot about what
@DarthSka said about parenting. It resonated big time with me and helped shape they way my girl and I are raising her.
