[Discussion] Downsizing/Minimizing Sneaker Collection or Quitting Collecting (WITH TIPS/RESOURCES)

I don’t eem wear the stuff. I’m sitting on 50+ ds pairs, and easily 200+ pairs that have been worn less than 5 times.

Man if we got together and came up with some system to get rid of these shoes we'd be in business. I just want a reputable way to offload these shoes without a lot of hassle, for retail if possible.

If your shoes are used, the days of getting retail are long gone. Hell, even if they’re DS you might struggle to get back MSRP, depending on the shoe.

eBay and goat are what I use. I use goat for ds, and eBay for ds, and used.

I’ve heard people using mercari and depop as well. I’ve never used either, except one purchase on mercari, which went smoothly.

What’s ur eBay handle?

Donated some pairs to my younger cousins. They're all 12-13 y/o wearing up to size 13s now so its an easy handoff. Will let them raid my storage before they go back to school in a couple months.

If you do have nieces/nephews or young family members that like sneakers, consider handing them down stuff you can't move on ebay. They'll appreciate it.

I should watch Talks with TJ more.

I actually be trying to have conversations with her on social media, but I think she's too focused on the negative surrounding her platform than the good.
