Display Idea's?

So I'm living with my mom until I finish school and I'm off to college, and currently all my shoes are stacked in a corner in my room. My room is pretty large, it was supposed to be a play room until god put me in their plans, so it's not like I can't put the shoes in it. My mom always complains about having them all out, and how my balling shoes smell, and all this other bull.
My closet is the size of my pinky, so that's not an option, so I was thinking about buying those plastic display boxes or some shelves

Can some people give me some good links, prices, or actually, some better storage/display ideas?

I'm trying to save up to move out, so paying for a storage unit wouldn't be as cost effective as possible right now.
Unless I have no idea of the price of storage today...

Old pictures from my apartment in MPLS - i picked up that whole unit from IKEA. Had more like it in the guest bedroom. You could get 3 pairs per shelf if need be.

when you go away for college your shoes aren't safe. best bet is to get a storage. parents will start giving stuff away or moving them to a garage. random family friend or relative might leave with a pair.

Shelving unit and get rid of the boxes

The Kobe's and Jordan III's That is a nice shelf, by the way, but like others have said you may just want to put them on a shelving unit if you really want to save space. I have a corner in my room that's filled with strictly shoe boxes too, but it's definitely the opposite of space efficient.
