I got this album a couple of weeks ago and it really grew on me.
One of the best albums I ever listened to.
Every song is inspiring. Trip-Hop ftw

Anyone else feel similar?

For me and my tastes, this is one of the greatest albums ever made.

A classic in the truest sense of the word. I have yet to meet someone who stumbles on this album and doesn't love it.

well now youve met me
i always thought of shadows music as boring and depressing, and on a side note him an elitist

I love trip-hop... NT was actually the place where I even found out what it was.

Any other trip-hop fans want to put me on to some stuff? I already know about the majors like Portishead and Massive Attack.

An elitist? Interesting. Not that I know any more about Shadow than you, but why do you feel that way?

And RJD2 is the same as Shadow to me--they both started off great and have sort of declined throughout their careers. I won't even say declinedthough--they have just grown into places I'm not as much a fan of.

def. appreciated, anyone know where i can find that "one night in bangkok" joint? that's a song u can

i dunno, when i watched that movie scratch, he came off as a douche to me, cut chemist too, but not to the extent that shadow did
i agree with yer statement on rj tho, i wouldnt say hes decline either, if ne thing technically hes improved with every release but some of the music hechooses to make doesnt hit me as close as the other stuff he used to churn out

Amazing album, nice post.

Anyone else forget about great albums once they've built up their library pretty big? I haven't even thought about this album in months, thanks forreminding me
