at his son, that's not how he should've approached the situation. It should have been handled off camera if he really wanted to talk. DMX didn't even know ahead of time that dude was gonna be on the show, his own son set him up on TV for ratings.
And the whole time he was letting the lady put words in his mouth instead of speaking on his own.

Saw this on Saturday night. It's sad how messed up he is. He still has issues of his own with his mom that he needs to resolve. Until he resolves his own issues, how can he be an effective father? His son seems to be a nice young man and clearly expressed what he wanted from his father. Too bad his father wasn't prepared to meet him at that level. Hopefully one day his father will see eye to eye with him.
