Warriors forward Stephen Jackson has been working hard this offseason, already having packed 25 pounds of muscle on his frame.
"I got some news for ya, I got on the scale today, I weighed 240," Jackson told KNBR with Fitz and Brooks.

" ... I still look the same as when the season ended. I've been eating good, I've been running a lot, and shooting 500 shots a day, so, I've been working out. I got on the scale and I was kinda scared because I didn't think I weighed that much, because when I was working out the day before, I was moving real good, I dunked a couple times, I'm moving like I normally move. So, I was wondering, 'How am I 240 and I still feel the same?' I plan on playing at around 230, 225, but the way I feel now, I feel great."

Glad he's still working on things though. I don't think he should slim down if he doesn't think it's hindering him though..

There's no way he put on that much solid muscle. He's probably more toned so he thinks it's muscle. It's probably more water weight and fat.

True, but Skita that one Nuggets offseason put on 37lbs and only gained 1% bodyfat. The trainer said he literally had to drag him out of theweight room that summer

There's no way he wasn't on steroids if that's the case. 37 lbs. in a year is pretty much impossible without roids. In an offseason? Yeah, no way.

Let me find the article though. He claimed he was giving 7 hours a day

@ skittles

I believe you, I just don't believe Skita or his trainer. Unless he was severely underweight, which he wasn't, there's no way he's gaining thatkind of weight naturally. And 7 hours in the gym is extremely counterproductive (unless he's counting basketball drills and such), not to mention just asimpossible. It's steroids, exaggerated weight gain, or Skita is an alien. Simple as that.
