I'm considering getting rosetta Stone to learn Spanish. I used the free portion of the app and it seemed useful. 200 is kinda steep tho. I'm in a city where it will be beneficial to learn the language.

Would not recommend RS..repetitive..exhausting..there are so many cheaper options..I recommend any books that come with audio CDs so you can get pronounciations and the basics down..if its somethings ur comfortable at..then get more materials at intermediate or advanced levels..

I have all 5 levels of RS and barely got thru 1..too boring..had to force myself thru it..Internet and YouTube is an amazing resource..def spend $30 or $40 to start out with then go from there

If you're serious about learning the language then I would sign up for a class at your local community college. Otherwise there are a bunch of free apps that can get you started, personally I like Duolingo.

I've heard mostly negative reviews regarding Rosetta Stone.

Trying duolingo now and i liked rosetta Stone more, i was thinking of taking classes also.

Take classes if you have the time. Duolingo is a great app idea. It will help you if you're just learning and freshen you up if you used to speak it. I also speak a good amount of spanish and italian. Enough to hold a conversation. and enough french to get around. Working to strengthen that.

Can understand Patois and speak some. Understand a lil Arabic too.

Working proficiency in Tagalog i thank moms everyday. Im working my up on Spanish through duolingo i love that app
