with simple designs like that where the txt is being used as image, its important that the typeface be appropriate. i would just study some more letterforms and see how much they can change the feel of your designs. the typeface used on the 2nd design should def be changed.

lion tee would be tight without the SF on his face and a new font. maybe downsize the lion image.
other tee would also look better without that logo. or a smaller one hidden in there in a random color. tiny neon logo would look cool.

First shirt is pretty cool, but the whole 'faded' thing is bad. Change the name to something more respectable.
