For guys, dating a girl way shorter isn't a big problem imo...for girls dating a guy who is noticeably shorter is usually where the problem occurs.

Thats not my opinion, that's just what I noticed is the general opinion.

I'm 5'7 and the shortest I've dated is 5'9..tallest 6'4 if that matters...

Height is a BIG deal to females. Most females I know will never date a guy who is noticeably shorter than them. Some people also feel like a taller guy is more manlier and would be able to protect them.
