people who apply to join the police department are susceptible to the same human failings as the rest of us: greed, corruption, racism, sexism, etc.
And yet, it's up to them to patrol us? If we're all the same, why not let us police ourselves according to the rules we've already agreed on as asociety? Is there REALLY a need to elevate one group of people higher than another for safety sake, or are thereulterior motives?![]()
