Does NT have any Electrical Engineers in here????

Hey guys, I'm an industrial design student trying to build this ultrasound device that emits 45 khz. I have no background in electrical engineering and spent about 2 days trying to figure out how to read schematics and prototype a bread board. Is there anything that I'm doing wrong on the bread board? Did I translate the schematic wrong? Obviously we won't be able to hear 45 khz and I don't have a oscilloscope to test it but I've tried to see if my dog can hear it and he can't at all.
