My girl staying at my place for the weekend and she brings over Buddy, her mixed chihuahuaX ****zu.
Not really a fan of small dogs but this one is pretty cool...however there's one problem. He barks at people..i guess cause hes protective with my girl?
For an example, me and my girl are sleeping in my room with the door closed and hes in there with us, if someone passes by my room, he starts to growl and bark and we have to shut him up. Another example is that if the doorbell rings, hell wait until the door opens and starts barking at the person.
Any way to stop this? Training? Or is this his personality and i cant change it? I was thinking of going to petco to buy on of those collars that shocks him a little if he barks....Would that help?
