Well I don't know about this particular joint but I remember going somewhere earlier this year and getting a bucket of like 5 miller lights for like $20. I don't know how much a bucket of coronas would be there, I was really just saying that to get the point of my question across lol.

Well dude you just get a booth so yeah you can go cop drinks at the bar. I mean all it is is a spot to sit and a bottle on the table with a few pitchers of juice. Watch out for bottle rats ad stated earlier. Don't let that crap fly.

Actually if you gonna call anyone broke, call ME broke lol. I'm paying for everything myself, hopefully everyone else will chip in while there and order more. If not, it's all good, not tripping. I'm inviting friends and co workers so it's my party funded by myself so I'm not expecting everyone else to go all out. I'm used to sitting home on birthdays and doing nothing and this year I just wanna try something a lil different... Have some fun VIP style. Guess its safe to say my expectations have been shattered!

2 bottles.... 475 each.

The general rule is 3 to 4 people per bottle, but this is high end clubs. Ie Vegas, LA hotspots.

You can get a bucket of beer instead of a bottle. Are you going through a host or hoping to show up and talk to someone?

Not sure how ATL is, but if you have a nice hookup 10 people with 2 bottles is doable, just depends on if you want to get drunk. You will run out of alcohol. There's no to-go cups so finish the bottles.

Once again, not sure how ATL is, my input is from Vegas and LA. Usually you will tip host, 200-400 depending on what they can do. This will ensure a good location and not getting kicked off your table when you run out of liquor. They might pressure you to buy more bottles if you don't tip.

Next, server grat is usually added to the bill, roughly 20%. This gratuity is for the server who brings bottles and mixers.

Next, tip the security guy who watches your table, 20-100 depending on service and wha you feel is appropriate. They will kick out unwanted people, some may even bring girls to your table. Good to have as an escort to bathroom especially when it's long. They will just take you to the front of the line.

Finally, you can tip the busser is they do a goodjob, once again depending on service $20-100. They could come in heady getting water at the end of the night. When you tip, ask to them to bring unopened water bottles from tables their cleaning to yours.

So you're gonna have: bottles + tax + gratuity + host tip + security tip + busser tip. (last 3 are not necessary but recommended)

I see you're inviting friends and co workers. Have them go in on the table. If there on table, you will get in for free. Also, you could put some people on table and the rest on guest list and they will get in for free. Just collect money from people who go In on bottles and guestlist. Charge guestlist people like $20-$30 and put it towards your bill

Hope this helps. PM me from questions

In Vegas, they're one liter. I think only one "top" club in Vegas does that (I can't ever remember which one, maybe Pure). They also have magnums, which are twice as much as the liter bottles but not equivalent in amount of booze, so buying two bottles of Goose is a better deal than the flashy magnum.

And that's just at Tao. Go to XS and a bottle Grey Goose on a Saturday night is $525 or more (depending on the weekend and the DJ).

Again, you're paying for the real estate. The price of bottles is completely arbitrary, as the alcohol, in essence, is FREE. That's why you can negotiate deals and table locations through tips and such. There's always some leeway as long as you're being reasonable.

If nobody else is pitching in then I would either roll dolo (better chance of leaving with something), or just take one of 2 of my best friends. Nothing is worse than having people drinking all your liquor that didnt pitch in. But all in all its YOUR birthday, as long as you're having fun who cares what NT thinks?

Thanks! All my questions pretty much answered! You're the man. Propz!

worth it... if you going to just get 1 bottle. Preparty your +@* off. If you are trying to pull girls, get at least 1 more bottle. Always done it in vegas, just to avoid the lines.

That too. I usually make it a 4 person per bottle limit back home. Dudes meet girls and they want them to have a drink, so I factor in maybe a couple extra drinks per bottle for the leeches. Because it's standard fifths, it doesn't go as far.

If you give a girl a drink from the bottle you better be smashing later. If not, major fail. Make sure the girls have a drink before you invite them lol.

What type of markups are we seeing on the alcohol? Is it not feasible to have everyone pre party, and just get a cheap bottle of something in the club, and walk out up 1-2 grand?

A 750ml bottle of goose sells for about 30$ at the store. The could sell them at a high end clubs for 400-500. It looks like the club op wants to goto has bottles for 250$.
