Where have people donated before and are there any specific places where you can actually see people getting your donations rather than just dropping them off in bins and hoping people get them?

go to goodwill or salvation army. if you itemize your donations you can get a receipt and it will be tax deductible

I usually give them to local school events during this time of the year where they are taking jackets and shoes.

My father is a teacher so I give them to him and he passes them out at the highschool. I've given away about 60 something pairs in the last 3 1/2 years
I just feel bad that I wear a 13 and I don't have anything for the smaller sized kids. I'd suggest getting in contact with a teacher, coach, or someone else you know that has direct contact with people that need shoes

i give mine to purple heart. but also those bins at the nike stores.

Good question. I have a few shoes that too beat to "rock", but still good enough to wear.

They have bins at Nike stores where you can drop off sneakers you've purchased and want to give away? Lol

They are recycling those materials for sure. :{
