Yo, anyone ever done this? New York Blood Center is giving out free mets tickets if you donate platelets, and I have b+ blood so I figure I might as well. I heard its a little more painful than giving blood, any experiences?

if this is the same thing as donating plasma, I've done it. When I was in college there was a place down the street that would give you 30 bucks to do it. I was a poor college kid
it's not painful really, but uncomfortable and kind of a long process. you're also not allowed to close/rest your eyes while the blood is being drawn. IMO, buy the tickets if you wanna go see the mets. that is, unless you're a poor college kid
