Since you felt that strong to start 3 threads, I'll give you a reply.
It was one of the few things Congress has done right. We can't afford to give our own citizens educations, let alone illegals. Besides in states like CA, the illegals are getting college educations anyways. I know because one of my colleagues was an illegal (now an Electrical Engineer) and just finished taking his citizenship classes. But this will be baited as another way of getting that Latino vote in the next election. The political game will never change, this whole deal is about controlling the power of the electorate, nothing more. Get more legalized voters on your side, control the mind of a voter demographic, and maintain control of Power. You think those rich white democrat politicians care more about the Latino community any more the the rich white republican politicians. It is easy to see through the game.
Back on topic, Congress did the right thing.
