Are you trying to say J.Crew made the desert boot before Clarks?

If so,

a rcdp...word! Clarks have been making desert boots way before anyone in this thread was even born. Folks in their 50s are buying them again becausethey had the OG pair back as a kid.

Can anyone tell me how the Hundreds Johnson Canvas sneakers fit? I wear a size 9 should I stick with it? And also if anyone can point me in the direction ofany sneakers that have the same mold as these it would be appreciated.

Man, why don't they make a good casual boot shoe/boot in any color other than dark brown? The Timerland Jardims or Timberland Cruisemaster for example arethe perfect shoe i'm looking for, but need them in black. I don't like SPerry's. The fit is terrible, they crease horribly, and I can't figureout how to clean them. I might have to just go with the Sperry Cup's anyways, or Nike Mad Jibes but I can't even find those in black.

Did you mean to say boat shoes and not BOOT shoes? In either case, Clarks have black in both boat shoes and boots.

Boat shoes with jeans (APC New Standards)... the jeans will have a pretty nice straight fit with a taper... not on some skinny jeans tye steezthough...

YAY OR NAY?

Downtown- Khakis/Jeans and a Polo/Button up.

Anyone know where I can find a decently priced white suede boat shoe. I think Sperry last made them a few years ago.

Nacho- info on those white boat shoes you're wearing in your pics?

Definitely. Nacho's pics from the last page can give you an idea of how boat shoes look with jeans and a button up on.

Yes. Just make sure the inseam is proper and not excessive so they bunch up at the leg openings. I know slim fit jeans are not for everyone, sostraight leg and boot cut are fine too, as long as the inseam is proper to your height.

the white boat shoes were some cheap $15 shoes I found at a TJ Maxx alternative called AJ Wright. A brand called Scaco, I dunno, some cheaposhoes I got lucky on.

Let's make this thread international,

Here is my fit from Sunday, excuse my eyes it was a hectic day and I only slept 1 hour that day.
I took the pictures with my Macbook so the quality sucks, but the jacket is navy blue and the v-neck sweater is some kind of dark blue colour.

Gilt had some nice Polo shoes earlier, too bad even with the discounted prices, I'm broke. I was feeling the red leather boat shoes.

wearing True Religions is blasphemy IMO

my boy has a nice pair of faded blue ones (with rips in the knees) and a regular embroidered pocket on the back (no button, and no weird od pointat the bottom of it) but they still cost him $172. there are nicer jeans for that.
