Dudes on NT who criticize others but can't take criticism

I was banned from a thread earlier today for engaging in jokes about a person who criticizes others. I know I'm the last one to talk about others but if someone talks about me I won't catch feelings because I often put myself in position to be clowned. To me it's all fun and games but when someone pushes the report button because they can't deal with criticism on NT you approach the lame cornball level. What says you??

Yup, dish it out but can't take it. It's like your boy who cracks jokes but soon as he's getting clowned here comes the low blows and personal attacks.

We're all adults here for the most part but dudes are quick to push that report button I don't get it.

It's against the rules to make fun of other members. There's a way to keep it in good fun but you don't know how the person is gonna take it and it could incite a flame war which will get you banned. Why waste your energy going back and forth over meaningless, negative crap?

This is one of my pet peeves it's not just NT. I've been insulted by people and hit them back with the ether and had people try to paint me as the bad guy cause dude couldn't take it.   I think my problem is when someone criticizes me, I immediately go for the KO.   

same here people on NT and real life know my downfalls so when they try to throw shade I go hard at them and they get super mad when a dude with issues makes them feel like a fool.

I wasn't clowning just engaging in jokes that were present in said thread. We've become a charmin soft society.

There's a difference between bullying and engaging in jokes with people who clown on others. I was bullied in elementary school and junior high and I had to learn how to become funny to combat bullies who clowned on me. There was no such thing as reporting people.

my grandfather RIP who was a diehard baseball fan always said that people want to throw heat (90-100mph) pitches but when it comes time for them to face a pitcher who throws heat they can't get a hit for ****.

I used to lurk from like 07-10. Started positing sporadically on another account in like 2010-2011 when it was Yuku. Got a new acct after the switch. Seems like everybody here wants to get a joke in, or talk down on people. All the real N's left. I'm guessing the ISS F-boys took over NT.

In the last 3 weeks I've seen Fewtch rat a dude out to a chick for no reason. People consigning it for thread entertainment. Mods being power hungry. People laughing at LO saying he deserves to die. People being elitist and talking down. And I love jokes and poking fun at the next man, but it seems like dudes like to kick people when they're down on here. Just general F-boy behavior.

Maybe I'm paying attention too much, but it seems like less of a community, and more of a pissing contest.

Edit: Oh, and Dudes "reporting" for the smallest things. Who raised some of these guys man

It's the internet. A message board about sneakers. Nobody should really take it that seriously.

eh, could be just me, but NT felt like it used to have a sense of community with a sense of trust.

After a while, it just slowly faded away.

People started to rat those who posted pics of girls. Dudes would reverse image search then send PM's to their facebooks about it and stuff. Lame as hell if you ask me, but it wasn't like that.

It used to be funny when cats came to NT fronting and then got found out when the detectives when to work. That was funny, to me at least.

It stopped being funny when people would try to be that guy and rat people out just for da lolz. The latest example is that dude fwutch or whatever his name is. Perfect highlight of why nobody posts pics on NT anymore. Why that sense of community feels like it doesn't exist anymore.

It's not just NT, though. It's the internet overall, I feel.

Teaches you a good lesson about the internet being an unsafe place.
