I've been listening to E40 ever since the mailman...gotta say I'm more a fan of his new stuff than I ever was of his older stuff. Most people would probably disagree with me, but I think he might be the only bay rapper that sounds better over 'hyphy' beats than old school bay production. His energy, his delivery...I think it works perfectly with the newer style...
