Never liked Ecco the Dolphin. Bubsy was hot garbage too.
I would love a resurgence of 16-bit side scroller beat 'em ups and platformers though. SEGA, Konami, and Capcom have so many classics they could put up on the store. Make them pixelated or line drawn. The 3D polygonal 2D remakes just aren't the same. A line drawn HD Comix Zone would be legit.

hmm. their word wont go far. back it up with glitches = free s*** agreement and we can talk. because not only was the game messed up, but they didnt even go hard at repairing it. they basically quit on us...AFTER taking our money on an unfinished product.

Man, I would love that. If Sega, Konami, Capcom, and a bunch of others offered new titles or even sequels to classics in their classic form of 16 bit available for download.
Imagine a new Megaman or something in the Playstation store

Plus, with tech they have today they could be more cinematic. Imagine Power Stone, with better graphics and larger, more interactive stages.
Fighters and beat'em ups need to make a come back.
