eBay Cases

Hey guys,
So I check my eBay inbox today and see that an item I had for sale recently had a case open. The buyer, who opted to buy it now, never paid for the item, so I eventually relisted. The guy has filed a case saying that he paid for the item and never received it.

Any advice as to what I should do?

if he didn't pay, did you file a nonpayment case on him???

also, even though he's saying this, you never received payment after you relisted right?

Your paypal records should show whether or not you received payment. That should help if he didn't pay.

right, i filed nonpayment and the case was closed.
he also has reported he tried to contact me by phone and through ebay.
which never happened

if i were you, i would call ebay instead of settling this via the internet...this guy is trying to be slick with the loopholes in the system...as long as you got records, you should win

its kinda weird tho that he's able to open a case against you when you filed a nonpayment case on him...very strange

good news, going back through my history i found this... so ebay actually cancelled it for me... so i dont understand how he could file a case since this says he isnt registered

Ebay has some idiots.
