Ebay Expert Advice??

today i got an email from a buyer, who bought 2 team issued raptors jerseys from me. In the auction, it was clearly stated that these jerseys were team issued and not game issued. Anyways, he emailed me today that he wants his money back. It was his mistake and not mine, because i clearly stated that these were not game issued. The buyer used two different usernames to pay for these two separate auctions. My feedback is 100%, how much of a chance does he have to get his money back?

He lives in Taiwan, and one of the auctions is from January and the other is from February, and now he is telling me he wants his money back, even though we are 3, 4 months down the line..

Any advice?

You should be fine. I think the timeframe has expired too.

If the transactions took place more than 90 days ago, there's nothing he can do and you are not obliged to refund him.

Happened to me once.

I sold a dude Madden, I forget what year, I get an email from eBay and PayPal about 4 months after the auction had ended saying the buyer has opened a dispute saying he never received the item. :stoneface

I replied back to eBay and PayPal like #!*? It's been that long and dude barely brings this up?

So, in the end, I kept the money and I never heard from them again.

Same should be said for you, tell em it's been way too long, he should've brought it up asap if there were problems. His problem, not yours.

i thought after a certain amount of time you cant file a chargeback either? i know its not 45 days but it has to be 60 or something. thats like buying something in January and filing a chargerback in October.
