What is this tomfoolery? Is me shipping not enough? Why do I have to wait 3 weeks to get MY money?

Someone explain this

Man just search paypal on here. like the 50th thread this year

I made a thread asking the same question a few weeks ago.

Apparently it's only for ebay transactions. The reason why they hold them in the first place is unknown.

So, if it was shoes, you should've done it on here.

I'm sure I'm getting more money on eBay. Dudes here search day and night for coupons, you really can't compete.

This was gonna be my Black Friday money to blow

i had this problem, i called ebay customer service letting them know that if they didn't release my funds i wasn't shipping anyones stuff out and that i would be sending transaction cancellation requests to every buyer explaining to them that ebay/paypal was putting unwarranted holds on the money and that i would rather just refund them then ship stuff out without having proper access to the funds. i also told the customer service rep that i would give the buyers the option of buying outside of ebay via money order or google checkout as well.

they ended up getting rid of all the unnecessary limitations i had quickly after that.
