ebay/PayPal question?

So I just sold a pair of shoes on ebay and buyer sent payment, but the payment is pending on PayPal. My question is when I ship the shoes, can buyer cancel payment? Can I protect myself at all?

it won't clear until the buyer receives the shoes. OP you have to ship the item and make sure you include tracking with signature confirmation to protect yourself

They have to receive the shoes, then your payment will clear.

Not if they used echeck. It takes about a week then Paypal will email telling you it has cleared and to ship. Although if the payer paid the normal way, it will still not give him the money until the transaction is fully complete it will be in like a holding status, so it depends on which situation OP is describing. I assumed it was an echeck

Idk about echeck or anything like that. I haven't sold anything on ebay so that's why there's a hold I believe
