Hey everyone!
I wanted to post something here just so everyone that likes to buy shoes on Ebay would know and wont let this happen to them. There is a person who is using Ebay to steal people's money by "selling shoes" and he gets his payment through google wallet and he goes by a fake name "Bryan Lopez" from Massachusetts and his number is 5059071236. My boyfriend and I were looking at shoes on ebay and we were interested in buying a couple shoes. When he would ask us to send pictures of these shoes, he would send us pictures of every single part of the shoes and they were legit. We contacted him though text and he said to pay him through google wallet and he will send the tracking number to us as soon as he mails it. Right after we told him the money was sent, he never contacted us about the tracking number. We gave him a day or so to get back to us and he never did. We figured that something was wrong so we checked if the money went though and it did. We looked him up all over the internet and it turns out that he lied about his name and his name is actually Thomas Bailey from Albuquerque, New Mexico. We went back on ebay to write a negative review and we couldn't find the user Authenticjays2014. But we found a similar post by the username AuthenticjaysBradford from Detroit. We know this is the same person because he put out the same cell number and same prices. My boyfriend texted him and called him out on stealing and how we reported him and everything. This time he actually answers back instead of ignoring us. Thankfully the money is being refunded which is great but this is really frustrating that this happened and it took some time to call ebay, google wallet and the bank to get this all straightened out.
