Electric Razor Burn help

I shave with an electric razor, not one of the really expensive ones, but definitely not a piece of junk or anything. Every single time I shave my neck area gets irritated, but no where else on my face. I was wondering if anyone else has a solution to this problem. I've never used any pre/after shave because I thought that was only for using legit razors. Sorry if this is dumb but thanks...

There's always the chance that your electric razor needs to be cleaned properly or the blades need replacing.

i used to get it with my old electric razor. after i switched out the blades it got a little bit better. the problem persisted as my razor got older (had it for like 8 years) because it wouldnt hold a charge correctly and was underpowered. i think this caused the blade to turn slower and some of my hairs would get caught and pulled.

finally ended up throwing out my old one and getting me one of these

bought it when it was on amazon gold box sale for like $80 or something. well worth it. hope it lasts me another 8 years.
