I hate to sound like a broken record but it was yet another pointless episode.

I cant wait until they get rid of this Ashley character...this chick is annoying.

i think the funky bunch line has shown he's grown a little. at least since the whole "say hello to your mother for me" fiasco

Because he feels that she doesn't think he is good enough for her as is, but she can make him good enough by molding him (new house, new job)
