====== EPIC Flyknit Series ======

I heard that the heel of the LE2 is much softer than the LE1 so I'm looking forward to trying out a pair to see if that's true. In the meantime, just ordered a pair of LE1 Oreo Lows since I've been meaning to grab that cw for a while now.

Yeah man I've always loved them and now that they are phasing out the LE1 I had to scoop them up before they were gone. I think I'm officially good on LE1 Lows now- I have the men's MC, wmn's MC, Triple Black iD (multiple pairs), and now I'll have the Oreos.

Hopefully the LE2 doesn't disappoint.

So I'm down here in Miami and as I'm sure you all are aware they just opened a NikeTown (flagship?) on South Beach Lincoln Rd. Friday evening they hosted a Nike Run Club 5K (by signup through Nike +) and as a perk they let everyone who wanted to "rent" a pair of the LunarEpic 2 which of course hasn't released yet. I say rent because we had to return them when we were done lol.

Anyways they are pretty great comfort wise. I'm not a serious runner but I do run and I own a pair of LE1 but only wear casually. Anyways the first thing I noticed was the sole seems a bit thicker on the 2 vs. the 1 and the one piece upper vs. a traditional tongue is a great great addition for actual running. I have thin ankles so shoes with tongues often slip to either side and the one piece upper totally eliminates that problem. As far as casual wear I think they would suck, I wore running dri-fit joggers and they looked kinda goofy IMO. So yeah just wanted to share a bit of my experience. I think runners will absolutely love the 2 but casual wearers that don't wear slim joggers probably won't.

(My apologies for he sucky picture but I wasn't really thinking about the privilege at the time.)

my dad was in the hospital and the nurses were loving my ULTD's :lol

these still are the best Nike as far as comfort and performance in some time IMO

^^ Agreed. The LE1 Lows are Nike's best model in regards to all around comfort as well as style IMO. I personally love the way they look (can only speak for the LE1 not LE2 as I haven't seen those in person yet) and the Lunarepic midsole is incredible for comfort.

Lows in black and unlimited cws on Jackrabbit for $80 + 20% off using code " lunarepic20 "

Really want to try a pair of LE2, but none of the initial drop GR cws are really tempting me. The black MC pair is the only cw I am drawn to, but I think I can wait on that one to cop at disco.

At the moment it looks like the Gyakusou Oreo LE2 will be my first LE2 whenever they release so hopefully that drop is not too far off.

Yeah, all of the other drop cws besides the men's black MC are unimpressive for the most part. The wmn's black MC isn't bad either (it's orange based instead of the blueish pink based men's) but I still prefer the men's MC cw version.

These are the salmon orange based MC for reference:

Dang those are dope too. I think I may like those a lil more than the men's pair

It all depends if you like your MC's in more cool tones or warm tones. I prefer cool tones more like the men's but both look real good. Reminds me of the the LE1 Low MC's where the men's pair was orange based warm tones and the wmn's pair was blue based cool tones. Looks like Nike decided to switch it up with the color tones gender wise this time on the LE2 MC's.

i always liked the orange based look of the men's MC more but the new one ain't bad either. I like how they are doing something different with the weaves this time around

I wonder when they will drop IDs for the new lunarepic 2s... anyone know?

LE 1 and 2 is a great shoe. My only complaint is that the swoosh is too big. Scale it down to the swoosh of a Free Run Flyknit. Personally, I think it would look a lot cleaner.
