Rico Love is someone who is in a similar lane. Both are good song writers who started behind the scenes for other artists and branched off to do their solo thing. Both have a similar sound with the bassy r&b tracks.

Eric Bellinger's last album "Cuffing Season" has a good track-list worth a listen too. Not going to lie, almost wasn't going to give the album a listen based on the stupid title but was surprised
