ESPN's Sports Science Unappreciation post...vol. not sure if serious...

sports science is the biggest joke there is....they try and make whatever segment they are covering as if no one else on the planet, except that person is able to accomplish them. they just showed the thing on Brittney Griner...talking about how she has a bigger reach than bynum...like come on...dude is 4 inches taller than her, with a way bigger wingspan, and here they are making it sound like Griner is taller and longer....whole thing pisses me the hell off.....not to mention John Brinkus is the biggest tool

Griner's wingspan: 86 inches as of 2009
Bynum's: 87 as of 2010

She may very well have a bigger wingspan now...

I didn't get that from watching this show but ok. I thought it was a good piece. I love Sports Science. I never get the idea that they are saying the skills they they profile are exclusive to that athlete. They are just profiling that athlete on that show.

I researched it and CURRENTLY Griner's wingpand is greater than Bynum's by 2 inches. She has grown a few inches in the wingspan department. Bynum might have grown too but the point was she is long as hell.

But it was a good piece. Not really sure what pissed you off but relax.

what i hate the most about that show is how they show only a fraction of the test they did, like say Ndomunkung Suh hitting Brenkus but only showing the moment of impact over and over and over again.

I liked it better when it was on Fox sports and they did the testing at Wayne State (I believe), but now they do it in at the espn studios (I believe) and added that "espn 

"  factor to it but its still a good show with facts.... more pointless facts but still interesting

It's just stupid as all hell.

They take the most basic plays/concepts and make it seem like anyone with a calculator or scratch paper can't do what they do.
