not for tuition purposes tring to find some information...
there is a backstory but not really fitting or entertaining

supposedly, cop said theres a law where if a person stays in a place for 3 months then they have established residency there. and they have legal rights beforethey can get evicted even if they dont pay rent/bills etc

any help is appreciated. district of redondo beach, CA... if it matters. i dont know if this would be state law or local law

also for the record. she isnt legal... so im confused. if shes an alien does she even have rights?

That didn't apply to your friend. He was talking about people who squat in homes/apartments.

tell her to pay the rent or get the %%%# out

she lives in redondo, pics of her please.

if im not mistaken if they stay in the house for three months they do get residency there though.

^lmao patrick you would ask for pics.

Lazy B, ironic combination with your s/n & response. haha but you basicly hit it on the nose. December 7th would be her 3rd month i think
and
the problem Lrrr , is that once someone establishes residency, they have legal rights. so even if they live in YOUR place, you have to go through the processof evicting them.

another thng, she has the key, and eventhough we don't want her coming back in, legally the key is her property.

i hate the law smh.

I'm actually trying to establish residency in California for tuition purposes, about to transfer to a 4-year and not really trying to pay OOS tuition.

it may sound kinda bad but if you reeeeally want her out you could try calling immigration. seems like a shady way to do things though.

all the the other stufff was dropped off @ the goodwill on carson st. and avalon. for anyone trying to cop true religion jeans. (in carson for my southbay nt'ers)

Backstory?

It sounds interesting considering you are slanging all her stuff and donating some to goodwill.

You have to go through the legal process to evict her. If she's already gone, but her stuff is still there just change the locks.

Did she bounce?

If you went into her space and took her stuff, she can get you for robbery/theft. No joke.

You can be granted residency if you go to a California CC and get your AA.

Other than that, I think it is 3-5 years for tuition purposes. Best option is to get your AA from a Ca CC.

i don't know...most states it's only 1 year...i know in Kansas it is for sure only 1 year...been thinkin about bouncin outta CA andheading to KS and living with my fam...

long story really really short.
this lady supposedly needed help, so friend of mine let her stay at her crib
lady started leeching money/food/everything off of the family, and didn't put a dime up for anything
person tells her to leave, because by then she (my friend) owed her a gang of money
lady leaves, then came back today to pick up her stuff (all stored in the garage)
she called the cops saying that they (friend) wudnt let her into the apt. my friend said she didn't live ther and wasn't welcome.

cops let her come in , my friend said the key was with her daughter.

eventually cops & lady left, friend called me to swoop everything up and drop it off...

and press for theft? how is she going to prove anything was there in the first place?
it'll just be he said/ she said. there's no proof anything was ever there. :]

how weird, passed by that Goodwill earlier today. I was on my way to a tiny Sneaker Consignment shop right next to that goodwill between my classes. I alwaysthought Carson sucked, but that shop made me reconsider a bit.
