Ever turn down a job interview?

got one coming up at walgreens, but I don't think I'm going.....

done a couple of retail gigs in the past, and this is just something I don't want to do, money is always good, but I just want something else, or somewhere a little closer to where I'm at..this job is way in N.W. D.C.

Yep. Have a job interview for MWR in Fort Eustis, VA and I had another one for the same job in Fort Irwin CA. It was going to be a phone interview because they know I'm at Fort Sill now but only starting at like 42k which isn't *@*% in either of those regions so I passed and I had a local interview at the Library once and I cancelled once they called me and told me they added some job responsibilities (reading to old people). Just make a it a point to cancel as early as possible and you won't burn any bridges with them and be blacklisted.

Yeah, it was a marketing position and to get there on time I would've had to wake up at 6:30 during a busy time of the semester. So I canceled because of a combination of laziness and not wanting to throw my sleep pattern off.

Why did u fill out the app at a retail store if you don't want to work retail? You should just go anyway and see what's up. Its like 2 hrs of your day.
