Yeah, I love the intensity.
The only reason the Magic Raps series is not like that is because the Raptors are softer than a pillow.

Some of the series are giving me flashbacks to the old school Knicks Bulls, Bulls Heat, Knicks Heat, Bulls Pistons...etc...

I like the little-extra, drama, etc. It definitely makes things more intense and interesting. Definitely playoff basketball...

EXCEPT for Washington-Cleveland. Stevenson and Lebron are cheesy. It seems like their forcing it for the sake of drama and attention. Stop running your damnmouths and take it to the court

Hardly.

I see Spurs and Suns, and the Wizards and Cavs if anything, just cause they've played each other a few times in the past playoffs so there's a rivalryand tough play.

But overall I don't think it's equaling Knicks and Heat, or any other classic rivalries of the 80s/90s.

It's been some great playoffs so far, let's just leave it at that and not start comparing it to other eras.

It seems like in almost every series the teams have a genuine dislike for one another.

I love it.

in the 90's people was always going toe to toe. the goons in MIA robbed a title from the knicks.

These series do nothing but aggravate me- the slightest push or elbow gets thrown out of porportion. I loved looking at Stern's face during the littleHawks/Celtics scuffle.

As corny as it is, am I the only one that actually enjoys the childish drama between Bron and DeShawn? I actually find it funny.

As much as the teams playing dislike each other, it doesn't come close to 90s playoff basketball.

no. I was probably 8 when that happened and I can never remember being more tight excited for a basketball game. When van gundy was clutching mournings leg!!!!That series will never be matched.
