Most of you guys who don't like this decisions are probably doing so because it is chic to bash America and to praise left wing strongmen.
This case is pretty weird as a matter of jurisdiction. It is similar to when Belgium, back in 2003, looked into prosecuting George W. Bush for war crimes inIraq. Belgium dropped the matter but even if it did render a judgment, so what, good luck arresting the American President. The same is true for collectingdamages, that were awarded by an American court, from Cuba.
