That’s a shame for his family. He made the NBA what most of us know and love - with a few false steps along the way but generally a positive force and leaves a good legacy.

"Good evening and welcome to the (insert year) NBA Draft..."

"The New York Knicks select..."

✌️

My condolences to his family. RIP.

But he forever tarnished his legacy with “basketball reasons” and his smug responses whenever he got questioned on it.

I thought that was explained; every owner had stake in the hornets and all 29 didn't agree on the trade. Y'all being real petty and ungrateful. His business sense made the nba what it is today.

crazy how son basically said, " *****, I do what I want"

he was a smug arrogant prick. I’m not saying that to be insensitive. That was partly why he was so successful and had the business acumen to grow the game on the international level the way he did.

but stuff like the jim rome interview and how he acted when the tim donaghy stuff happened just came off as arrogant to me.
