...learned early on you best job for a student is on campus, or paid internship...that's "experience" their referring to.

Yep. Have been doing this since I graduated college. I would change my resume every time I applied for a job so it would apply to what they were looking for. I would always exaggerate title. I can't remember the last time an employer checked my references, and I'm not working bs jobs either. I've worked for major TV networks and in the Commissioner's Office for the MLB.
Moral of this story, let your resume snowball into one big lie until you get where you want to be.

yeah im all down for the paid internships, but i hit usajobs.gov and they want a cover letter for every damn internship you apply for plus your transcript AND extra documents....I be saying to myself got dayum, this is like a job in itself.
