Does anyone know if it is possible to bypass the 4GB limit on fat32 drives?

I use the drives on my ps3 and xbox and it only recognizes fat32

I've tried the exfat format but that doesn't work either, so is there any way to get around it in fat32?

I don't think that there is a way to bypass it. An alternative is to get a streamer program.

Here are aome options:
Ps3 media stream: I can vouch for thos since i dont have a ps3 anymore

Playback: best program I've used, but you have to pay

Plex: harder to use but it's free
Boxee stream:i can vouch for this either

yeah, i use streams from time to time but I don't really like them, plus i'm trying to free up the space on my computer

You can reformat the the drive to ntfs or hfs, whichever your comp supports. Then connect the hdd to your comp an stream it from there. That way you don't have to worry about the 4gb limit.

i'm trying to avoid streaming though, i like just plugging it into either system

I guess the only option i have would be to split the files
