Dude I had the exact same question last week!!!! Same class and everything. If your overall
GPA stays above a 2.0 you will be put on probation. If not, you will be suspended and then its a warp

Fafsa last for 5 years so just make sure you don't fail so many classes that you wont be able to finish in 5 years.

5 years? It's 4...the typical time frame one would normally take to get a BS/BA (although a lot take longer than that now).
tot he OP, no...it's GPA based. If you're below 2.0 for the semester, you're in deep water.

what if you dropped a class putting you under the full time requirement? will you have to pay the financial aid back?

I don't think so? Because wouldn't that almost be the same as failing a class? Well not really but do you see what i'm saying? Because I asked if Iwould have to pay my failed math class back BEFORE I cou;d register next semester and they said "no, you will be fine"

You get up to 5 years of aid bro. I'm pretty sure about that one of my boys is in his 5th year and is still getting financial aid.
One of my other boys got on academic probation and if I remember correctly if your on probation for 2 or more semesters than you can lose your financial aid.You can go through an appeal process but I dont know about the odds of that going through, my boy dropped out before he got that far.

I'm also pretty sure because all of my friends and myself who got financial aid (NOT loans that are required to be paid back) all got cut offafter the 4th year.
Probation for 2 or more semesters will get you kicked out of the university. My university has a pretty lenient rule compared to most and even that,you're on probation if you're below a 2.0. If you don't raise it up by the next semester, you're off.
It's a pain of a process with Fafsa. I knew someone that went through it. The guy dropped to a 1.8 or so, had his FAFSA revoked. He had to write aletter to someone with hopes of getting the financial aid back, it's however not guaranteed.

No, it depends on your GPA and your school also. Make sure you have enough credits and definitely call up the school. One class won't get your FinancialAid taken away but failing enough classes will.
My friend was on probation and got kicked out of school. All this because he was too busy playing video games,,,

Just dont fail any other classes and let that gpa slip, I did last year and yea, it was a wrap.

Have you heard of Google.
I will assist you though.
1. You take EACH class and multiply the credit hours by the individual grade.
2. You add up the individual results
3. You divide the total sum by the total number of credit hours taken.
Where A=4, and F=0.
So if i got 2 As and a B. 1 A was a 3 credit, 1 A was a 2 credit and the B was a 3 credit then:
(3*4)+(2*4)+(3*3) = 29.
Total hours was 9. Then 29/9 = 3.22
Your GPA would be 3.22. Again, please learn to use Google. Or I promise you, the next 4 years will not be easy, It's not even about google, it's aboutdoing stuff on your own and being a resourceful, self-starting adult. Nobody is going to hire you if you continue to ask questions of this nature, Others atwork will be less inclined to help someone who they feel has not done their own due-diligence.

I've had people in my classes attend until the day the checks are sent out, then they never come back. I think as long as your attempting to do well,you're good.

So fafsa only provides for a certain amount of years not certain amount of credits? What happens if like this year they didn't aid me any money at all,because they run out of money for me?

General rules:
2 semesters in Academic Probation = lose FAFSA
No major declared by third year = lose FAFSA
