Fake Movie Trailers?

- can someone explain this to me? for every movie trailer you search on Usetube, you find 10 fake ones.....and bad one at that. whats the purpose? do they get THAT much money off the view counts? if they're not whats the purpose?

....but you can practice without uploading it to youtube. well, what i mean is, IF it was a good fake i can understand uploading it to see the response of how good it is. but with some of these videos dudes aint even trying.
