Hey Everyone,

New to the forum. Apologies in advance if I posted this in the wrong section. Are these real or fake? It seems to have an embroidered Nike on back of shoe. Would they really go through the expense of embroidery on a fake shoe? Their is also a metal slab on bottom of shoe.

Thanks

Aesthpua: Thanks for the reply. It does seem strange. Why would they take the time and effort to embroider a knockoff?? I basically know nothing about Nike sneakers. I think I remember reading online that you can have custom sneakers made or something like that.

Are there any other experts out there that can help with this? Do I have a one of a kind here? Something special?

They are fake. The style code is for a pair of team Jordan's. Tag layout is incorrect.

I think they are real. I did a quick search but don't see Js with that code.

However, I did find this:

This looks like a real Nike catalogue to me, including (bottom/left) the pair/code from the OP.

The size tag also looks legit to me, I have several shoes from that era.

That's weird. When I Google that code (316337-001) it returns pics of 2007 Jordan Rising Stars in the black/red colorway?

That's most likely because you mistyped the code: 316337 (yours) vs 316377 (OP & on that catalogue pic above).

Hahaha, if I ain't a dumb *** this time around!..True indeed. Good catch bro, if I could rep you twice I would! My bad OP, my bad..can't believe I did that.

Thanks Modus47 - Since they are vintage and practically New, are these worth anything to a collector? If you wanted to sell them, what would you price them at?

Thanks again for your help.

To be honest: I think you'd be lucky to get $10 for them, unless you bump into that 1 collector that has been looking for this shoe for ages.
Which is very very unlikely to happen.
