Family Crest

[GTA 809]

I think the idea behind family crest are 

When did this tradition die?

I googled my family crest but I get different results depending on the site and they all just want to sell mugs/shirts/mouse pads with the crest on em.

Since I can't validate authenticity I want to create one. The idea that my great great grand kids who I will never meet identify with something that I created is amazing to me.

Don't know but it might cause it says my last name came from Spain (completely ignored my Taino and African roots and only focused on the European).
Like I said I take that stuff with a grain of salt cause they're just trying to sell you a bunch of useless stuff.

I think this is a Euro/ nobility thing. Unfortunately I don't think its applicable to other parts of the globe. Pretty dope tho IMO.
