Fast and Furious Thread: Hobbs and Shaw Spin Off 2019 - Tyrese career ending injury

Saw the movie yesterday. I will be the one to say it, I will put this movie at last behind all of them. Hate me, block me, whatever. Maybe I need to watch it again or all the trailers spoiled everything.

Also, whatever happened to Tego and Don Omar? They lost all their money at the casino and then they're not family? And who's house was that that Mia was staying at?
Saw this last night....I think im good with F&Fs now...thats all i got to say about that..

relax guys, the ending was sad but for yall to cry?

like i was with my girl and i was hiding my face expecting to cry. It was def sad but no where near what most in here were saying.

I watched the film mainly for PW and Statham and ill admit, how they used Statham was dumb. Just IMO

Just came back from watching it. I enjoyed it, however some fight scenes were too long. Hated Stathan and Honsou.
Even though I watch Game of Thrones I never realized how gorgeous Nathalie Emmanuel is. :smokin Dat bikini scene .
The ending was really touching and it just hit me right then that Paul Walker is gone :frown:

I always felt Vin Diesel shouldve become a bigger star than he is.

Saw the movie Friday(technically Sat, after 12 showing). Wife and I decided to have a Furious 7 Friday, got high and drunk and saw the movie multiple times. Turned into a Furious 7 weekend of sorts, got to meet Ludacris at his album release here in ATL, and spent the weekend watching other movies from the franchise.

Movie was good, but could've been great. I went on a drunken rant to my wife on the way home, saying what I would've done had I been in charge of this movie. Will try to post as much as I can remember, lol.

First, dope fight scene with The Rock and Statham. I also was hoping for the People's Elbow, lol. Showing Owen Shaw survived in the beginning and Ian surviving leaves it open for another movie. Wish they would've shown Ian going ham during the hospital scene.

I liked the Race Wars scene. I would've loved it if Letty had hit Iggy instead of Hector. Where was Ja to make sense of this, lol?

The first scene of Paul behind the wheel  .

I liked the Tokyo Drift cameos. I would've loved it had they actually shown the race with Vin and Lucas.

The house explosion scene felt weird. I believe if Paul hadn't died they would've killed Mia that scene. I personally would've saved this scene for the end credits, with some changes. I'll elaborate later.

Thought Russell should've ended up being a bad guy. Pretty much putting Dom and the crew right where Ian wanted them.

Loved the Michelle vs Ronda fight!

The Paul Tribute was touching. The lady and I, we cried together, and then we made love, dead *** lol. I caught her crying earlier though, during the phone convo between Mia and Brian. Paul was my wife's first white boy crush.

The tribute could've been better. Would've loved to hear Tyrese say to Paul pockets ain't empty and we not hungry no more during the beach scene. They should've let Dom and Brian race, Brian hits the around ruly wins, and then they go their separate ways.

Now to why I would've saved the house explosion for the end credits. I know most will not agree with this but I believe it would've left us all fuming for a Fast 8. Show Brian and Mia moving into their new spot. Dom pulls up to greet them one last time. They're standing at the car getting ready to grab the baby. Dom grabs the baby instead. Mia and Brian move some things in the house. Dom watches with a smile as they enter, and then the house explodes. Dom notices some remnants from the explosion. He sees something with the name Verone on it. Roll credits.

I always wondered if some of the cast hang out in private life?
And if they do, who hangs out with who.
It really does feel like a family on screen

Man, I get the thought process of blowin the house up at the end, but you want to honor a man that died in a firey crash by blowing him up in a movie? :smh:

Come on b.

this video was from over the weekend.

we had a car meet at a local movie theater and we had a moment of NON SILENCE for Paul Walker. pretty epic moment. Rest in Peace Paul Walker.

I'm not feeling how they keep these antagonists alive. Both Shaws should be dead, so we can move on.

Movie was over the top. :smh: at dude not selling that Rock Bottom. Every knows it shouldve been end scene, roll credits after getting Rock Bottomed.
