Thought this was sick...
A father-son team from Park Slope decided NASA wasn't doing enough to document the stratosphere, and decided to take matters into their own hands. After testing their "19-inch helium filled weather balloon" in Brooklyn, Luke Geissbuhler and his son Max headed upstate and launched the device, complete with a camera, into space. Here's what the planet looks like from up there:

SEE VIDEO HERE

The two were able to track the device with GPS, and Columbia University Professor of Astronomy Marcel Aguera said the two were "very good but also very lucky." Perhaps Earth Ambassador can use the device to actually get some work. (That is, if the Earth Ambassador actually existed.)

so by his "simple little experiment" this guy is obviously implying that nasa is a sham, and the billions of dollars in their budgets are not used to finance space flight.  instead, the money is used to pay for the extensive drug habits of Congress and sex with various farm animals (and hush money).

well played, sir.  well played.

Some of said finances are wasted due to failed and inconclusive projects. The study of the stratosphere is very basic and NASA is deeply concerned with higher pursuits.
