Father's Day Gift Thread

Let's leave this thread for sharing gift ideas, amongst other things for Father's Day since it is just around the corner.

As for me, I'm planning to get my dad some headphones: Sennheiser HD280. Although, I do have a question. For such powerful headphones, will they sound terrible when plugged into a small device like an ipod ?Because that's what my dad uses primarily. So I need ideas for that...I think I need a headphone amp or something but I don't know what that is or where to get one. Ideas?

funny this thread comes up ... the thing i order my pops just came in today ... my dad into model cars and things like that so i got this some old school fire truck i say on a commercial .. look really nice im pretty sure he gonna like it .... other then that i normally just take my parents out to eat on holidays like these
