BIG is THE Best to ever do it, as far as talent, mic skills, versatility, rhyme scheme . . .
But Nas was that dude before BIG, and 12 years after his death Nas is still makin classics . . . IMO Nas surpassed BIG with his last joint, he's been TOOgood for TOO long to not be. He dropped the absolute BEST hip hop album, stayed relevant for 15+, has ATLEAST 3 classics under his belt (4 if you have awfultaste in music and think IWW was worth a damn) . . .
His resume speaks for itself . . .

, so will we be seeing a new Greatest 50 MC's list? On another note, I think NaS has 4 classics w/o IWW. Illmatic, Stillmatic, God's Son, Untitledand if you wanna count The Lost Tapes he got 5. If I Am... never got leaked that double album would have been right up there with LAD and AEOM imo, maybe evenbetter.
