ftp.com has the FBI warning
ps.com has the FBI warning... but ps.net doesn't.
figure its only a matter of time before ps.net is shut down too.

feel bad for all the people that had money in those accounts.
I say just stick to playing at the Indian casinos or Vegas to be safe.

Not everybody has access to the records of your financial transactions with PS/FT, your photo identification, your bank accounts (which btw will tie your SS# to your poker account ), and your tax records or lack thereof.
At least I hope these aren't as readily available as hh's on PTR or HDB. I don't think they are.

This is all assuming that you're an American with a ss#. If not then it doesn't apply obviously.

Obviously not everybody has access to all of those things, but as far as knowing how much I've earned in online games, that information is out there for everybody who knows my online handle.

I could care less about the FBI having all of my information because I write a check to this corrupt government every 3 months.

hahahaha every 3 months? not just once a year?  your tax liability must be crazy.

i have to imagine that anyone who takes this seriously and counts on it as their primary source of income reports their winnings and pays tax on it.  no need to play russian roulette with the IRS.

Then you were one of the smarter one's. I don't think you have much to worry about past just waiting for your money.
I don't know but I'd check if PS/FT is carrying debt; how much and at what rates. If it is fairly low I don;t see a problem with the players being paid back even if PS/FT are shut down permanently (which I don;t think they will be; prob new management though).

That online *#%+ doesn;t matter. If tax likabilities are pursued by the IRS that's not what they're going to use. They're going to use withdrawals and only withdrawals. It will then be incumbent on the players to provide the deposit amounts to prove their p/l.

I wouldn't worry about the US gov so much now as I would on PS/FT management and where exactly they are keeping player funds. They may try to use it as leverage to plea bargain. Money goes back to players in exchange for lighter sentences/ judgements?

Read the DOJ report. They were bribing US banks into processing transactions. This is akin to gun running/drug dealing %!!%.

Its just so stressful having money tied up.

Also, I ALWAYS withdraw money for my expenses on the 15th of the month.

Whats today?  The 15th.

I guess you could say that I'm running bad.

I've actually tried to stay away from reading those reports for some reason.

I hope I hear something positive soon, though.
