i'm going to keep it short, but yesterday i was parked and waiting for my girl to come back from the store to grab some snacs,

i kept on getting a prompt on my iphone to "update my carrier settings", so i did just that. when it was completed, another alert came through and said 17 voicemails.

(i often dont bother checking my voicemail messages because it's usually junk)

Since i was still waiting on my girl to come back to the car, i decided to start deleting messages. A lot of messages happen to be from my mom dating back from last year, if you dont know me I lost my mom earlier this year to cancer. I moved out of my house over 2 years ago so sometimes i treat it as she is still alive and well at home.

I played one, and it was her forgetting to hang up the phone, so i could hear her walking around and having a conversation with my dad, the next one i played was her asking when she could babysit my son.

i broke down in tears when i was able to hear my moms voice again.

rest in peace to your moms fam. stay strong there you got this.
