Well there is a fifa thread up but this works since its about both fifa and pes.
I played fifa and I loved it. At first i was disappointed but I know how real the dribbling is, I have come to love the game.
Ill finally give PES a chance though. I haven't played those since Winning Eleven.

d/l PES as I type this....never cared for FIFA, though 10 is not that bad,,,let's see what PES did to bring back some of it's hardcore followers

i love the sport.. but i suck at the game lol... i buy Fifa every year get frustrated and trade it in

dude, Fifa was terrible until 09... i was a diehard PES'er, but Fifa definitely surpassed them last year.. here's hoping they both gotbetter this year, i'll d/l the demos tonight.

unfortunately that's what I've been hearing for awhile. I mean, that's good in a way b/c 09 was pretty good overall.. but i don'treally feel like dropping another 60 bucks if they didn't improve anything.

I had the same feeling, but how much better can they make the game play? I am a casual FIFA-er, so I may be ignorant, but I am a fan of "if it ain'tbroke, don't fix it."
I really need to step my game up though, I am gonna get dominated.

nil nil through 90 ... went to pks, one stop each through the entire lineup all the way to the goalies ... come back with messi and henry and make the gamewinning save FTW!

FIFA 10 was actually improve don A LOT compared to 09. Been playing the demo for about a week now and the more I play it the more I notice this. Try playingwith the dynamic camera, if you're not impressed I don't know what to say.

Just played my first game of Fifa 10... won 1-0, Munich over Barca... my main dude Mario Gomez with the game winner.
Gotta say my initial reactions are better than i had hoped... game feels a good bit different i think. I mean, the learning curve is going to be low for peoplewho played 09 a lot, the controls seem almost identical.. but the pace of the game is a bit different, so mastering it will be a whole new ballgame.
It feels more authentic so far... guys seem to move more realistically, passes feel more life like, the ball moves at the right speed it seems.
I think it's faster in some places, but slower in others... and it seems to look better initially.
So overall - i'm impressed. it's very much the same like i've heard, but in the good ways.. and improved on the bad parts so far.
but that's 1 game.. let's see how i feel after 10.

PES is weird, coming from an avid FIFA'er, the graphics are nice, just the gameplay and control is a bit diff. It also seems a little arcade-*$* to me, butim willing to give it a go.
To me FIFA 10 has improved a lot on 09, its much more fluid and accurate in terms of control. Will be interesting to see if there are anymore developmentsbefore the official release.

How the hell could they allow this in this game, that was supposed to be their comeback game after Fifa wiped the floor with them last year? And I'm a ProEvo fan ever since the ISS Deluxe Vs early Fifa game rivalries on SNES. I really wanted Pro Evo to be #1. SMH @ Konami.

On to FIFA & PES
PES is the better game if you want realism plus better movement, gameplay, and graphics this year
the demo code is from July so expect more improvements�
FIFA 10 on the other hand is FIFA 09 with smaller graphics
FIFA improvement are CPU as the ability to score freekicks, quick fk, and perform skill move which PES 5 had
plus a few new skill moves which I like but everybody know how it is online( 100% pressure & aggression + the 2nd defender)
make it useless in a way, check em out

All in all, I'm not sure which one to pick now but I'll probably get both
