Fighting a ticket

What are the chances of fighting a ticket..... and hoping the police officer wont show up?
Do they get the day off if they need to be in court or can they be working and not make it to the trial?

Anyone have experience with this?

try writing a letter (trial by deceleration)..
i would just call it a day and pay for it.. waste of PTO, time, & effort IMO...
