filipinos help me identify a dessert.

i remember when i was like 3 i went to the phillipines and they had brought me to one of those open market and bought me this dessert i believe .. but its like some what of an opaque purple color and milk or maybe coconut milk poured on top..

its been soooooooo long that thats the best description i can come up with.

help?

i guess you can say cold or room temperature .

^ the liquid isnt purple and there isnt anything else in it like halo halo..

its like a opaque purple pie shape thing or whatever with milk poured on top

ok it kinda looks like this.. but i dont think its with hawaiian poi.. but the idea is like this.

Where in the Philippines did you have it? Manila? And can you really trust your memory as a 3 year old?

If it's room temprature, it's probably some kakanin.

All I can think of off the top of my head that's purple that's not ube is sapin-sapin!

maybe some kakanin with latik? biko? or some rice bibingka with latik sauce?
fan of filipino desserts but can't ID these. haha. HTH
